Welcome to Blueiis

At any time around 13% of our population suffer from an anxiety related disorder. Anxiety can manifest in many different forms from a phobia of flying to a fear of leave your home.

Anxiety is caused by fearing a situation that we perceive as being difficult or dangerous. It is our bodies natural response when we feel threatened but sometimes this anxiety pins itself to a situation or event that carries little or no danger. Anxiety is a learnt behaviour that can be un-learnt through different methods including Councelling, Hypnotherapy, Cognative Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Some anxiety disorders can also be treated with medication prescribed by your doctor or herbal remedies. Whilst these methods have proven to provide effective relief from the symptons of anxiety based illnesses, the real underlining cause still needs to be addressed.

My name is David Charlton and I have lived with anxiety the majority of my life. I have learnt a lot from reading books, hypnotherapy,councilling and self help methods. Whilst I have learnt to control my anxiety over the years through these methods, I still have my down days and this is the reason why I have created this website. Its not about giving you a magic cure (because unfortunately there isn't one). Its about giving you helpful information on how to best deal with your disorder and to have a place to talk to other like-minded people through my forum.
